Our Director speaks at TEDx.
In "The Paradox of Borders," I share a personal journey that reveals the mental boundaries we create for ourselves. In this talk, I introduce the idea that the most significant borders are not geographical but mental constructs that limit our potential. I reflect on overcoming academic challenges and achieving success in animation and storytelling, emphasizing the importance of resilience and personal growth. I highlight our obligation to share meaningful stories that inspire and connect with others. Through my experiences, including writing a film based on true events, I illustrate how embracing these narratives can transform perspectives. Ultimately, I encourage the audience to confront and cross their mental borders, reminding them that the journey toward who they can become starts with their own stories. “Jacques is a film director and cinematographer with over 30 years of experience. He has worked on films, documentaries, and global commercials. He has filmed across Saudi Arabia, possesses a deep understanding of the culture and language, and shares his expertise with the new generation.” This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
